Breaking Free From Shame
Hosted by Michelle Passey & Jessica Milner
Shame is one of the enemy's most powerful weapons because it attacks the very core of who you are. While guilt says, "I did something wrong," shame says, "Something is wrong with me." Left unaddressed, shame can affect every area of life—your relationship with God, your identity, your relationships, your confidence, and your ability to receive love and walk in freedom.
In this two-day course, we will explore the roots of shame, how it enters our lives, and how it becomes a stronghold that influences our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we will examine what Scripture says about shame, how it differs from guilt and Holy Spirit conviction, and why Jesus came not only to forgive our sins but also to remove our shame.
Through biblical teaching, practical application, and guided ministry, you will learn how to recognize the effects of shame in your life, identify the lies and labels that have shaped your identity, break agreement with shame, and embrace the truth of who God says you are.
During This Course You Will Learn:
- What shame is and how it operates
- The difference between shame, guilt, and Holy Spirit conviction
- How shame attacks identity and intimacy with God
- Common roots and sources of shame
- Signs that shame may be influencing your life
- Biblical keys to breaking free from shame
Whether your shame stems from past mistakes, trauma, rejection, abuse, family dynamics, or painful life circumstances, freedom is possible. Jesus did not create you to live hidden, condemned, or defined by your past. He invites you into healing, restoration, and the confidence that comes from knowing your true identity as a beloved child of God.
Join us for this life-changing journey as we uncover the lies of shame, encounter the truth of God's love, and step into greater freedom, healing, and wholeness.
