Healing from Spiritual Abuse
Hosted by Michelle Passey
Spiritual abuse can leave lasting scars on the heart. It often affects how we see God, how we see ourselves, and how we relate to others. Many people walk away feeling confused, betrayed, rejected, fearful, or ashamed, wondering if healing is even possible.
This course is designed to help you recognize the impact spiritual abuse may have had on your life and provide a safe, biblically grounded pathway toward healing and restoration. Together, we will explore how spiritual abuse develops, how it affects identity and relationships, and how to identify unhealthy beliefs and wounds that may still be influencing your life today.
Throughout this course, you will learn practical and biblical tools to:
- Recognize the signs and effects of spiritual abuse
- Identify areas of hurt, disappointment, betrayal, and broken trust
- Process grief and loss in a healthy way
- Walk through forgiveness without minimizing your pain
- Rebuild trust in God and develop a healthy understanding of His character
- Learn how to engage in Christian community with wisdom and discernment
- Strengthen your identity in Christ
- Break free from fear, shame, and unhealthy spiritual patterns
- Move forward with confidence, hope, and freedom
Healing from spiritual abuse does not mean pretending the pain never happened. It means allowing God to meet you in your wounds, restore what was broken, and lead you into greater freedom and wholeness.
No matter what your experience has been, healing is possible. God is not the author of abuse, manipulation, or control. His desire is to restore your heart, renew your trust, and help you walk confidently in the freedom and identity He created you for.
Join us as we take this journey together toward healing, restoration, and renewed hope.
